Regional Representatives
The DFHP includes areas of 11 western states and several major hydrographic basins. Habitats for our 175+ included native fish species range from small, isolated springs and cienegas to high elevation streams and major river systems. Because of this unique and diverse geography, we have four sub-regions that allow us to better focus efforts within these areas of the western landscape. Our four regional representatives bring specific expertise on these areas and serve as a valuable resource to help DFHP address questions and issues specific to their respective regions and assist our partners with the process of identifying and structuring actions to enhance and restore critical habitat needs for native fish species in these areas.
